Not a bad looking Tosa, but I like more muscle in the back end.

Sure looks like a female dog, but this is from the studbook too. Some St. Bernard blood in there.

This is probably the most lanky Tosa in the entire book

Have a look at the size of the top dog, this is the biggest one I found in the book. Very few dogs approaching this size. English Mastiff influence? The dog below is still one of the larger ones, but a more reasonable size.

This one looks a lot like a Tosa I've seen at a European show breeder site.

Top dog almost looks like a Lab, but unlikely to have that in the genepool. Bottom dog looks a bit like a Boxer in his head

A few black Tosas are in the book, this is one of the nicer looking ones.

Not sure what is mixed in this dog, but he's the only one in the book that looks like this.

The Japanese dogmen have a sense of humor it seems.

Another patchwork Tosa

A very squat Tosa, most have a lot more leg than this. Many of the dogs are either cow hocked, east west or both. A few are much higher in the rear too.
